THURSDAYS (11 am to 5 pm) & FRIDAYS (2 pm to 5 pm)

Program Cost
$7 per visit

We operate on a first-come first serve basis. We continue to update our operating procedures to fit the mandated measures for social distancing and hygiene.

How We Operate

Logistics

  1. cleaning of space regularly

  2. Sweeping and mopping of stairs on each day

  3. Clients wait on the landing and in stairwell

  4. Foods bank staff wash their hands and the carts regularly

  5. Clients are asked to wait in line

Selecting Food & Payment Process

  • Clients must be registered to use our service (registration can be done on the same day). Identification documents are requested. A food bank card will be given to you once the registration is complete.
  • Clients select their food choices from the provided list (available on our Facebook pages)
  • Food items are collected by staff
  • Items are placed on a disinfected cart and wheeled out to the entrance
  • The glass door is unlocked
  • Clients place their food items in their own reusable bags on the landing (clients are asked to bring thermal bags to place frozen meat items)

  • The cost is $7 which can be paid in cash or by Interac

  • The cart is disinfected and the next client is served
  • The delivery service is reserved for Senior members of the Association only, as outlined by the Board in March 2020
